Crews will close Rosecrans Avenue to through traffic at the I-5 freeway, nightly between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., Tuesday, March 31 and Wednesday, April 1, 2015.
This work will be staged so that only one side of the street is closed at a time. Rosecrans Avenue at the I-5 freeway will be closed as follows:
- Westbound lanes closed from 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 31 to 1 a.m. Wednesday, April 1 and from 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 1 to 1 a.m. Thursday, April 2
- Eastbound lanes closed between 1 and 5 a.m., Wednesday, April 1 and Thursday, April 2
Motorists will be directed to use Alondra Boulevard, via Bloomfield Avenue or Carmenita Road as an alternate route to avoid the closure. The detour route is shown in green on the map below.
