ROSECRANS AVENUE & BLOOMFIELD AVENUE BRIDGE PROJECT – Week of October 4, 2015

The pile driving activity at the Rosecrans Avenue bridge at I-5 has temporarily stopped and will resume in mid to late-October. Once pile driving resumes, work will include daytime and nighttime lane reductions and closures on Rosecrans Avenue at I-5. Additional information about this work will be provided once the work is scheduled.

Upcoming construction activity over the next six to eight weeks will require intermittent daytime and nighttime closures (partial lane closures and full road closures) of Rosecrans Avenue at I-5. Next week, consecutive nighttime closures are scheduled on Rosecrans Avenue underneath I-5, as crews conduct work on the bridge bents at the undercrossing. Rosecrans Avenue will be closed to through traffic underneath I-5 for five consecutive nights, between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 4 through Thursday, Oct. 8. Please note, the I-5 on and off-ramps at Rosecrans Avenue may also be closed within the times listed above.

During the week of Oct. 4, motorists will be directed to follow the detour routes highlighted in green on the map below, during the nightly closures of Rosecrans Avenue at I-5.
