Monday, July 6 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., crews will close one lane in each direction on Rosecrans Avenue, between Firestone Boulevard and Bloomfield Avenue, to adjust k-rail. Nightly closures of Rosecrans Avenue, between Firestone Boulevard and Bloomfield Avenue, are scheduled nightly 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday night, July 6 through Friday night, July 10. Please note, the contractor will only close one direction of Rosecrans Avenue each night; for example, when eastbound Rosecrans is closed, one lane of westbound Rosecrans will remain open and vice versa. Motorists will be directed to the detour route outlined in the map below, while these closures are under way.

Rosecrans Avenue I-5 on and off-ramps will also be closed while this work is completed. Motorists will be directed to follow the detour routes highlighted in green, to bypass the closure area
The new southbound I-5 Rosecrans on and off-ramps will open to the public at 5 a.m. Thursday, July 9. In addition, the southbound I-5 will be closed from Imperial Highway to Carmenita Road, from 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 8 to 5 a.m. Thursday, July 9 as crews perform striping work on the freeway. Motorists will be detoured to exit southbound I-5 at Imperial Highway and turn right, turn left on Pioneer Boulevard, turn left on Alondra Boulevard, turn right on Carmenita Road, then turn right on Firestone Boulevard to access the southbound I-5 on-ramp.
