Beginning the week of January 1, crews will close N. Firestone Boulevard from Rosecrans Avenue to Bloomfield/Markdale Avenue. Residents in the area will maintain driveway access. This closure is dependent on utility crews removing a pole in the construction area. Once work begins, N. Firestone Boulevard will remain closed for approximately six months.
Rosecrans Avenue will be closed intermittently to all through traffic (motorists and pedestrians) in both directions underneath I-5, Monday through Friday nights between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. These closures are needed as crews begin pouring the Rosecrans Avenue bridge. Rosecrans Avenue closures will continue intermittently for the next six months.

Crews will close N. Firestone Boulevard, between Rosecrans Avenue and Bloomfield Avenue/Markdale Avenue, intermittently Monday through Friday nights between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. These closures are needed as crews complete the construction of the new soundwall.
Pile driving activity is underway adjacent to northbound I-5 near Rosecrans Avenue. This work will be performed intermittently for the next several months, Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. As this work is underway, flaggers will be on site to direct traffic, while crews transfer piles from the contractor’s yard onto the construction site. While transferring piles, portions of Bloomfield Avenue, between Rosecrans Avenue and Markdale Avenue may be temporarily blocked during the daytime.
